Who we are & what we do

Suicide Prevention is our Number One priority

We have been patrolling the 4 bridges in Limerick city for over 5 years now. Our main focus is to keep a look out for members of the public who we may see around the waters edge late at night, who look distressed or fearful. We approach them and just simply ask "Are you ok".
We are all volunteers from all walks of life and and our aim is to try and curtail the suicide rate in the limerick area.

Our Volunteers

Our Volunteers are highly trained to deal with different types of Interventions that may be nessasary . We are there to listen and offer advice and support.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help people at the river at night when they may be feeling very low, to offer a shoulder to lean on, an ear to listen. If we can send that person home safely then it is a job well done.

Contact Us

Please Note...

We are not a counselling service and do not offer support via phone, email or Social Media as we may not be available at all times. Our Job is to patrol the bridges and surrounding areas and to intervene if necessary should we find someone vulnerable and contemplating Suicide.
